About The Position
At Boar’s Head, our mission is to be the leading provider of exceptional customer service and superior quality delicatessen products. That all starts with the employees that create our products using time-honored food preparation techniques. We are seeking a general employee/food production associate for our Petersburg, Virginia facility. Multiple shifts and areas of the facility are available.
Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to work in a fast-paced active environment
- Able to work in a refrigerated environment with appropriate protective clothing
- Perform basic math functions
- Willing and able to regularly lift/or move up to 40 pounds
- Able to maintain appropriate attendance and performance standards
Responsibilities
- Work multiple line positions to complete food production and quality goals
- Meet all physical and food safety requirements
- Communicate with team/management to create a productive and positive work environment
- Cross train to learn all areas of the facility – we promote from within whenever possible!
