About The Position

OPEN POSITION IS FOR 3rd Shift, 10:00pm - 6:00am 5 - 6 days per week The Production Associate is responsible for the safety and productivity of all production employees staffed on designated shift, as well as plant security. Additionally, the this position is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner and within all quality parameters and for participation in both the hiring and performance management processes.

Requirements

High School Diploma preferred
At least 3 years of experience as a production worker
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Excellent leadership skills
Follows and maintains SUN NOODLE’s Good Manufacturing Practices and good hygiene practices

Nice To Haves

Food handling experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to designated shift
Enable effective communications between management and operators
Train new employees and coach existing employees
Initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures
Maintaining quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all equipment and resources
Making sure that production team are following Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure property food safety handling
Assigning production operators to different work stations; efficiently utilizing employees skills and time
Manufacture and pack products as necessary
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Understanding all equipment, including mixers and cutters, to ensure production is running accurately, efficiently and smoothly
Understanding all recipes and measuring accurately to ensure recipes are consistent
Continuously monitoring mixers, cutting machines, packaging machines and other related equipment packaging they are running properly
Checking that machines are set properly to produce and cook (HI) noodles and related products (i.e. dumpling wrappers)
Overseeing processes and procedures to ensure that noodles and products are produced, packaged, tempered and stored properly
Ensuring that products are up to SUN NOODLE quality standards
