Food Preparation Workers
About The Position
The Cook Chill Production Center (CCPC) serves Office of Mental Health facilities and other NYS facilities, government facilities, and not-for-profit agencies by making and delivering 150 different food products, producing 15,000 lbs. daily. This position involves performing a variety of food preparation tasks other than cooking, including preparing cold foods/shellfish, storing and stocking food, and sanitation tasks. Some tasks are performed in a wet or cold environment. Food Safety and Facility-specific training will be provided. Salary is commensurate with the scope of work and job experience. Proper footwear is required to perform tasks safely. Other reasonably related duties may be required.
