About The Position

As a Food Prep Helper at Sodexo, you support the preparation and serving of menus while keeping work areas clean and tidy. The role involves preparing hot and/or cold foods, providing welcoming customer service, and contributing to a healthy and safe working environment. Duties may vary by account according to business needs and client requirements. The position is full-time or part-time, with varying shifts, days, and hours; open availability is preferred. The pay range is $16.00–$18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

Read recipes and/or product directions and assist with preparing hot and/or cold foods using a variety of kitchen utensils and equipment.
Clean and sanitize work stations and production equipment.
Perform basic cooking duties, such as cooking vegetables or chicken for salads.
Attend work and arrive for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
Perform other duties as assigned, which may differ among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements.
Serve menus and provide welcoming customer service.
