In keeping with Drueding Center’s core principles of healing from trauma, restoring hope and rapidly ending homelessness, this position provides trauma informed services, assists with Drueding Center’s Food Pantry operations, and coordinates the Child Care food program under the direction of the Nutrition Advocate and Volunteer Coordinator. CONNECTING TO MISSION: Drueding Center continues the legacy of the Sisters of the Redeemer and embodies the mission of Redeemer Health, to care, comfort, and heal by providing trauma informed services to the most vulnerable among us, families who are or have experienced homelessness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or a general educational development certificate
  • Minimum of an 8th grade education and enrollment in a training curriculum described at 3270.31(c). The classroom training portion of the curriculum shall be completed. Documentation of completion of classroom training and continuing enrollment in the training curriculum shall be included in the staff person’s file
  • Minimum of an 8th grade education and two (2) years’ experience working with children
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
  • Basic understanding of inventory control and receiving techniques
  • ServSafe Manager certification (post hire)

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Excel and data entry a plus
  • Valid Driver’s License a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provides trauma informed services
