About The Position
National Star Services, a nationwide facility management company with over 28 years of experience, is currently hiring Food Packers in Des Plaines, IL 60018. This role involves following recipes, assembling and packaging food items, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and quality. The schedule includes two shifts, Monday through Sunday, with two days off each week. The hourly pay is $17.50, with overtime opportunities and biweekly pay.
Requirements
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Must have and wear slip-resistant shoes
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to start as soon as possible
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
Responsibilities
- Following recipes and production instructions accurately
- Assembling and packaging food items according to production orders
- Working efficiently to meet daily production goals
- Reading and following menu specifications
- Maintaining cleanliness, food safety, and quality standards
- Supporting team members to ensure smooth production operations
