The Food & Nutrition Hospitality Associate is responsible for completing all duties listed on the task list, ensuring the quality and accuracy of department operations by performing and monitoring daily food service related activities. This role involves preparing, expediting, validating, and delivering patient meals, nourishments, and floor stock. The associate will also assist patients with menu selection, deliver and retrieve meal trays, communicate patient needs to nursing, and perform cafe and trayline related activities. Additionally, the role requires handling cash transactions, following standardized recipes and food safety processes, and maintaining patient confidentiality. The position emphasizes patient and customer satisfaction through effective communication, collaboration, and a commitment to service excellence. Safety and sanitation techniques are paramount, along with adhering to hospital and department guidelines. This role may also involve duties in the diet office, trayline, dishroom, or cafe as needed.
