CAPI USA is seeking a reliable, community-focused, and relationship-driven Food & Nutrition Coordinator to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Food & Nutrition programming. This position is critical in ensuring access to nutritious food for immigrant, refugee, and underserved community members through management of CAPI's Client Choice Food Shelf, fresh produce distributions, volunteer engagement, and participant support services. The Food & Nutrition Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining food inventory, coordinating food distribution activities, supervising volunteers and interns, providing community resource connections, and ensuring compliance with food shelf standards and program requirements. As a member of the Community Advocacy team, this position serves as a direct connection to the community, building meaningful relationships with program participants, identifying unmet needs, and helping elevate community voices to inform both program development and broader advocacy efforts. The ideal candidate is passionate about food access, community engagement, and supporting immigrant and refugee communities through culturally responsive and person-centered service.
