About The Position
Under limited supervision, this position manages maintenance employees and oversees repairs, equipment installation, and preventative building and equipment maintenance within a refrigerated food manufacturing plant. The role involves troubleshooting automated technology, maintaining employee relations, conducting preventative maintenance, and making repairs using a Business Planning and Control System. Adherence to company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices is essential. Regular attendance and punctuality are required due to the nature of working with people, items, and equipment at the facility.
Requirements
- 10+ years maintenance experience is required.
- Basic computers skills are required.
Nice To Haves
- Electrical mechanical experience is preferred.
- Training experience is preferred.
- English/Spanish bilingual is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Manages maintenance employees and oversee automated technology.
- Troubleshoots problems with Human-Machine Interface and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Maintains employee relations and evaluates job performance.
- Conducts preventative maintenance and follow-through.
- Makes repairs using a Business Planning and Control System.
- Follows company safety guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required due to working with people, items and equipment that are at the facility.
