As a supervisor your responsibilities will include the direct, day-to-day supervision, training, and motivation of all zone inspectors. This includes, but is not limited to, review of all inspections conducted within the zone, routinely working with all inspectors assigned to the zone, holding zone meetings, maintaining the Consumer Complaint Tracking system, reviewing Daily reports, handling legal actions, conducting audits, supervisory reviews, new inspector trainings, disseminate management directives and other tasks as necessary. Work assignments in this area are divided among food processors of all sizes and types, specialty processors (Seafood HACCP, Juice HACCP, etc.), warehouses, large grocery stores and convenience stores handling and processing potentially hazardous foods. The Food Inspector 2 is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday. The position will be based in our Albany office located at 10B Airline Dr., Albany, NY 12235.
