About The Position

The Expeditor coordinates and expedites the delivery of food to guests in a friendly, courteous, and efficient manner, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. This role works closely with the kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate food delivery while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-3 months of related experience in food service or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Proficiency in using MICROS or similar point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with kitchen staff and servers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail to ensure food quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Retrieve and deliver food orders to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure the quality of food delivered meets the restaurant's standards.
  • Perform side work and other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
  • Communicate guest needs and special requests to the server.
  • Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to work, break, and meal periods as per standards.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, in compliance with the dress code.
