Laughter is literally part of the job! The San Jose Improv is looking for outgoing and energetic Food and Drink Runners to join the team. Have a passion for true hospitality! Must love taking care of all guests! We strive to create a memorable experience for all patrons, so top-notch customer service is a must. Requirements

Thrive in a fast-paced environment with a focus on teamwork!
Friendly, outgoing, and excellent communication skills!
Ability to work flexible hours, especially nights, weekends, and holidays.
High school diploma, or equivalent work experience.
1 or more years of experience in restaurants or clubs.
ServSafe Food Handler and TIPS or LEAD Certificate ensuring compliance with any county or state requirements.
Consistently demonstrate a professional appearance and demeanor.
Can stand and or walk for an 8-10-hour shift.

Responsibilities

Partner with bartenders, servers, and anyone else to ensure service stations are set-up, maintained, and broken down correctly.
Make sure anyone who is ordering alcohol is old enough to legally partake.
Expo food, drinks, and other items as indicated by the ticket (usually all at the same time)!
Listen to guest needs and quickly obtain what is needed.
Be attentive to whether a guest needs to find transportation home due to alcohol intake and inform appropriate members of management.
Maintain the showroom and clear as needed.
Give us suggestions on how to enhance service whenever a breakdown is identified, we want to hear from you frequently!
