About The Position

The Sanitation, Warehouse associate helps maintain a clean and safe workplace to support the health and safety of associates. The role performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation tasks throughout a warehouse facility, including dry, cooler, and freezer areas, and may perform similar duties in office areas as assigned. Tasks can include cleaning with chemicals and operating a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash. The associate must follow company health and safety policies and complete assigned work accurately and on time.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of general sanitation and/or janitorial work experience.
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of general sanitation, cleaning, and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Pallet jack experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to help ensure the safety of all associates.
• Perform assigned cleaning duties, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup, and related janitorial tasks.
• Handle cleaning chemicals according to hazardous-material safety sheets.
• Complete all assigned Pure Safety training modules accurately and on time.
• May operate a pallet jack to transport refuse or trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Complete all assignments accurately and on time.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
