About The Position

Chileda has a contracted vendor for student mealtimes (lunch and dinner), which is prepared at the vendor's location. The Food Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting meals from the contracted vendor to Chileda La Crosse campus in a Chileda vehicle.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent and be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate vehicle in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
• Ability to ensure compliance with safe food handling and transportation standards.
• Ability to maintain a clean delivery vehicle

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with other Food Delivery Drivers to ensure coverage for each mealtime.
• Ensure student prepared meals are delivered to La Crosse Campus by designated mealtime: Lunch - 11:00am, Dinner - 5:00pm
• Lift Food Cambro's, both empty and filled with food, into and out of vehicles.
• Return food bins from previous meal to contracted vendor.
• Follow traffic laws and safe driving practices at all times.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external teams.
• Complete routine cleaning of vehicle to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
