About The Position

This position leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates. They will tour stores, provide feedback, and communicate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction. This role involves introducing and leading company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions, and communicating business objectives to teams effectively. The position also models and demonstrates exceptional customer service standards, manages customer service initiatives, ensures customer needs are met, and develops action plans for improvement. Additionally, the role drives financial performance and sales by reviewing financial statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses. They will monitor merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes, and develop action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals. This role provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, setting expectations, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset. They will also coordinate and complete job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, identifying and communicating goals, and measuring progress. The position ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. Requirements

  • 2 years of college; OR 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience; OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
  • For facilities that sell firearms, the position requires successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
  • For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, the position may require a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.
  • Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
