About The Position

Saskatoon Co-op is seeking a Part-Time Food Clerk for its Centre Food RW#8 location in Saskatoon, SK. This position reports to the Assistant Food Store Manager. Saskatoon Co-op is a member-owned business focused on serving its members with products and services that build, feed, and fuel individuals and communities. Profits are returned to members and stay within the local economy. Saskatoon Co-op employs over 1400 individuals and serves over 127,000 members across various sectors including grocery, liquor, pharmacy, petroleum, home and building solutions, and agricultural supplies.

Requirements

• Sufficient knowledge of grocery merchandise handled to effectively operate the section(s) assigned.
• Familiarity with all lines of merchandise handled by the department.
• Strongly service-oriented and motivated, and capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Physical ability to handle the work to be assigned.
• Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Be responsible in the area of Loss prevention.
• Operate cash register as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
