About The Position

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well-run store experience within our Fresh departments. Every shift, your work helps keep our store running smoothly and our customers coming back. We are committed to offering competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between $15.25 - $16.98 with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location.

Responsibilities

Build positive connections with customers and teammates
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays
Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
