About The Position

Boundary Co-op is hiring a Full-Time Food Clerk in the Bakery / Deli Department at our Food Store in Deloraine, Manitoba. Co-op does business differently. Requirements

• A grade 12 or combination of relevant experience
• Essential to be available to weekend shifts
• You are able to delegate tasks when given multiple tasks at once
• You’re action oriented, customer focused and work well with other Team Members
• You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do
• You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives
• The successful candidate will work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Experience of food store operations is desired but not essential

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Boissevain Food Store, Bakery/Deli Department
• Demonstrate day-to-day behaviours and actions that align with and strengthen the Co-operative's vision, mission, values, brand and focus on safety
• Product preparation, packaging, pricing and merchandising
• Customer Service, preparing customer orders etc.
• Cleaning & Maintenance of Bakery/Deli Department equipment and work station
• Perform other duties as assigned
