The Food Captain is responsible for ensuring all food operational execution in the store to maximize sales and reduce waste. This role involves training, coaching, and being a go-to resource for employees regarding food products and services. The Food Captain will also plan and execute food sampling, conduct in-store training on new Foodservice programs, and ensure foodservice areas are properly stocked and maintained according to FIFO rotation and planogram standards. Additionally, this role involves monitoring shrink, improving sales, and collaborating with training personnel to ensure effective food safety practices and training delivery.
