About The Position

High Growth company looking to hire an experienced Food Products Buyer/Purchasing Agent to join our team and who will be responsible for purchasing multiple lines. The right individual will have a diverse background in the food industry (procurement, sales rep, etc.). Experience in purchasing within the "Protein" food group is preferred. This position requires excellent communication skills both verbally and written, proven time management skills and the ability to problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Confirming purchase orders and reviewing for accuracy.
• Effectively manage inventory levels and manage the disposition of obsolete inventory.
• Monitor current orders, schedule deliveries, and solve purchasing related problems.
• Communicate with vendors regarding products, orders and deliveries.
• Additional duties as assigned.
