About The Position

We are seeking an A.M. Food & Beverage Supervisor to join the Eau Resort & Spa team. As a key member of the team, you will play an essential role in delivering exceptional service to our guests, upholding the standards of our Forbes Five-Star resort. This role is primarily designated for our dining outlet, Stir, with lateral coverage for our coffee shop, Oceana, and Eau Spa dining outlet, Savor. We have a full-time position available. This role is an A.M. position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays and day shifts (flexible availability preferred).

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-year(s) experience as a Restaurant Supervisor or Manager.
  • Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • Food Handling Certificate.
  • Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with guests, management and co-workers to ensure mutual understanding.
  • Ability to provide legible communication.
  • Ability to compute basic mathematical calculations.
  • Must possess strong leadership qualities.
  • Ability to understand guests' service needs.
  • Ability to thrive during very high levels of business.
  • Ability to be well organized, maintain concentration and think clearly when providing service to guests within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification of previous training in liquor, wine and food service.
  • Any previous culinary training.
  • Certification in alcoholic awareness program.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the food and beverage department in a supervisory capacity.
  • Be cross-utilized in other food and beverage outlets as necessary.
  • Train and motivate staff to ensure the highest standard of service and presentation.
  • Fill in laterally as needed to ensure the utmost in guest service while adhering to hotel and Forbes standards.
  • Suggestively sell restaurant menu items, beverages and wines.
  • Access and input information into Micros system.
  • Maintain good coordination while serving orders quickly.
  • Work outdoors for extended periods of time in extreme temperatures.
  • Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
  • Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.
