About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Field Supervisor Concessions, prepares and serves food & beverages (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) to the public and assists with the operation of concessions.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Current certifications: Ontario Smart Serve
• Experience handling cash, preferably in a food and beverage setting
• Ability to provide superior customer service, serving the public in a polite and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to practice good lifting, safety, and sanitation techniques
• Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as it applies to this work

Nice To Haves

• Current Safe food handling certification along with previous experience working in a food service operation

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service in providing food and beverage (alcoholic/non-alcoholic) services to the public.
• Check identification to ensure customers are of legal drinking age.
• Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to maintain a safe environment.
• Receives payments, deposits daily revenue, and completes daily cash summary sheets; ensures daily deposits and float are balanced.
• Assists with maintaining concession stock and stock records, which may include monitoring stock spoilage, ordering, receiving, and transferring stock.
• Performs such other related duties as may be assigned.
