Requirements
- Minimum 1 Year of prior experience as a server
- Valid Smart Serve Certificate
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with food and beverage services.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Meticulous attention to detail in taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and handling cash transactions
Responsibilities
- Provide warm, friendly, and attentive service to all guests, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience.
- Greet guests, take orders, and offer menu recommendations based on their preferences and dietary restrictions.
- Efficiently take and accurately enter food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and accurate delivery of orders.
- Handle special requests or modifications with professionalism and accuracy.
- Familiarize yourself with our menu offerings, including food items, cocktails, wines, and other beverages.
- Provide detailed descriptions and recommendations to guests.
- Serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic drinks.
- Process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions, credit card payments, and other forms of payment securely and in accordance with established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including bar stations, service areas, and dining sections.
- Identify opportunities to upsell menu items and promote special offers or seasonal features.
- Provide information about additional products, such as wine pairings or dessert options, to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
- Adhere to all applicable food safety and alcohol service regulations, including age verification and responsible alcohol service.
