About The Position

Under the leadership of the General Manager and the Food & Beverage Director, the Concessions Manager will be responsible for effectively and profitably managing and directing all day-to-day aspects of the Concessions operations at the Toledo Complex.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5-7 years' management experience in the high volume foodservice industry, preferably in concessions environment for a sports and entertainment venue.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-oriented environment.
Demonstrated leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
Customer service oriented with the ability to communicate with employees, vendors, client representatives and guests in a positive and professional manner.
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including late nights, weekends and holidays.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of accounting procedures, POS Systems and inventory management systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assisting in operating within budget, managing monthly P&L statements and ensuring that all financial reporting is accurate.
Fostering a partnership with the Client to deliver on fan experiences for all events.
Creating and fostering a positive team member experience.
Providing leadership, coaching and mentorship to the staff responsible for executing the team business plan.
Sustaining cost as it pertains to labour and operating supplies, working within budgeted guidelines.
Providing efficient service and quality products by maintaining proper safety and sanitation procedures as well as ensuring proper repair and maintenance of food service equipment; creating a working relationship with local health officials.
Ensuring unit compliance with federal, provincial, local, and Legends regulations regarding sale of alcohol.
Ensuring proper hiring, promoting associates per Legends standards and CBA.
Preserving existing programs and developing new concepts to ensure the highest possible quality of food and service.
Overseeing inventory for concessions operations and assisting in developing yearly operational budgets.
Scheduling of hourly staff as required.
Adhering to all Legends and Client policies and processes.
Performing other related duties, tasks and responsibilities as required.
