About The Position

Amangiri invites you to embark on a unique cultural and professional journey as a Food and Beverage Intern at our resort in Canyon Point, USA. This internship offers hands-on experience in luxury hospitality, allowing you to learn the fundamentals of high-end service and operations. Under the guidance of experienced leaders, you will gain valuable insight into Aman’s approach to warm, personalised hospitality.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Hospitality or Culinary Arts programme.
• Eligible for the J-1 Internship or Trainee Visa for the United States.
• Strong interest in luxury hospitality and guest service.
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• High level of attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work collaboratively in a team.
• Must meet all J-1 visa and programme sponsor requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support the Food and Beverage team with delivering food and beverage to guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Learn the set-up and breakdown procedures for service areas in line with Aman standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in all front and back-of-house areas.
• Develop knowledge of the menu, including allergens and guest preferences.
• Assist with polishing and restocking silverware, glassware, and linens.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure seamless guest experiences.
• Observe and support service timing and the flow of guest interactions.
• Participate in pre-service briefings and daily team meetings.
• Engage in cross-cultural exchange and hospitality best practices.
• Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene procedures during training and service.
