About The Position

The Food & Beverage Expeditor plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication between the kitchen and front-of-house teams. This position is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and monitoring food orders to ensure timely, accurate delivery while maintaining presentation standards and supporting an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

Must be at least 19 years of age.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Previous experience in food & beverage, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Comfortable using mobile devices, kitchen display systems (KDS), and other technology.
Ability to secure and maintain a Nebraska Gaming License.
Food Handler and/or ServSafe Certification required or ability to obtain.
TIPS Alcohol Certification may be required based on operational needs.

Responsibilities

Practices, supports, and maintains the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming Omaha, LLC.
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the expo line in accordance with health and safety standards.
Communicates effectively with kitchen and service staff regarding orders, modifications, and special requests.
Verifies food quality, accuracy, and presentation before orders leave the kitchen.
Assists with final garnishes, plate inspections, and assembling complete orders for service.
Maintains thorough knowledge of menu offerings, ingredients, and dietary restrictions.
Organizes and prioritizes incoming orders utilizing kitchen display systems (KDS) and/or printed tickets.
Ensures food is delivered accurately and efficiently during high-volume service periods.
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Performs other duties as assigned.
