About The Position

This role is responsible for coordinating food and beverage services, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures, and maintaining a professional and welcoming environment for guests. The coordinator will handle guest relations, communications, and various administrative and physical tasks to support the food and beverage operations.

  • Other employees are assisted to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
  • Clear, appropriate, and professional language is used when speaking to guests and co-workers.
  • Written documents (e.g., daily logs, business letters, memoranda, reports) are prepared and reviewed, including proofreading and editing for accuracy and completeness.
  • Telephones are answered using appropriate etiquette (e.g., within 3 rings, with a smile, using caller's name, transferring calls, requesting permission before placing on hold, taking and relaying messages, allowing caller to end call).
  • Information is effectively exchanged with other employees through talking and listening.
  • Work topics, activities, or problems are discussed with coworkers, supervisors, or managers discreetly and quietly.
  • All coworkers are supported and treated with dignity and respect.
  • Sensitive issues with employees and/or guests are handled with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
  • Work-related information is entered and located using computers and/or point of sale systems.
