About The Position

As a cook at LakePoint Sports, you play a critical role in delivering a top-tier dining experience to athletes, families, and fans. You’ll be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. From concession to healthier options, your attention to quality, safety, and presentation helps ensure that guests have a satisfying and memorable visit.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years’ kitchen experience
  • Possess strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Have strong problem-solving abilities with quick decision making
  • Must be willing and able to work late nights and weekends; hours per week vary depending on events scheduled
  • Possess a valid Georgia driver’s license
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Maintain a positive customer service mindset during events, particularly under stressful conditions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sports is a plus
  • Excel in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Operate full-service kitchen equipment (grill, fryer, oven, warmer, holding table, etc)
  • Cook food in accordance with company guidelines and policies (efficiency, quality, safety)
  • Maintain clean workstation
  • Set up and break down and organize workstation
  • Monitor multiple food orders at one time
  • Properly hold and store food
  • Uphold food, health, and safety procedures
  • Open and close kitchen according to standard operating procedures
  • Communicate stocking needs to supervisor
  • Ensure all menu items are available
  • Maintain proper kitchen appearance
  • Monitor and document food holding temperatures
  • Monitor and document food waste
  • Communicate with sales associates to ensure order accuracy and timeliness
  • Adapt to menu changes
