This position involves completing closing duties such as storing reusable goods, breaking down goods, cleaning equipment and areas, returning equipment to proper locations, locking refrigerators, restocking items, turning off lights, locking doors, and completing a daily cleaning checklist. The role also includes setting up, stocking, and maintaining work areas, inspecting the cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silver before use, and maintaining cleanliness of work areas throughout the day using clean-as-you-go procedures. The attendant must follow all company and safety/security policies, report accidents and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training. A professional appearance, maintenance of confidentiality, and protection of company assets are required. The role involves welcoming and acknowledging guests according to company standards, speaking clearly and professionally, answering telephones with proper etiquette, developing positive working relationships, supporting team goals, and responding appropriately to employee concerns. Adherence to quality expectations and standards is necessary, as is the ability to read and visually verify information in various formats. The position requires standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance, and manipulating objects with fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The attendant must be able to move over sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, and up and down stairs or service ramps. Reaching overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, is also part of the job duties. Other reasonable duties may be requested by supervisors.
