About The Position

The Food & Beverage Attendant is responsible for managing the beverage cart and the profitability of the sales. Always provides outstanding customer service with a smile. This role involves managing daily operations of the beverage cart, clubhouse food and beverage service, and the starter shack, ensuring compliance with health and safety codes, and contributing to inventory management and profitability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to work morning and closing shift.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Minimum of two years' experience in customer service
  • At least 6-month cash handling experience.
  • Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to interpret documents and reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
  • Draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems and situations reasonably.
  • Must have a Valid California driver's license.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
  • Significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; frequently balancing; frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling.
  • Regularly required to use fingers, hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
  • Assist customers quickly and efficiently.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Employee must regularly lift up to 40 pounds and/or occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Can stock and run Beverage Cart.
  • Can stock and run the starter shack
  • Can run both Kitchen and Bar simultaneously and effectively.
  • Can use POS system, count money, make change if necessary.
  • Responsible and Accountable for Daily Reconciliation Money
  • Follows all policies and procedures.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic computer knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stays informed of daily play, tournaments, and special events.
  • Sets up beverage cart according to daily needs.
  • Responsible and accountable for daily reconciliation of monies to be deposited and keep tight controls of inventory and shrinkage.
  • Provides food and beverage in the clubhouse.
  • Assist in the training new employees to ensure they work in a professional manner and are knowledgeable about their duties in the food and beverage department.
  • Responsible for assuring that beverage carts and storage areas are clean and up to California Food and Beverage codes.
  • Comply with California state liquor laws, (ABC).
  • Communicates with management regarding any adjustments in ordering or suggestions of products that may be needed to better perform and meet the goals.
  • Follow policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the cooking of Golf Course meals.
  • Use POS (Point of Sale) system, count money, make change, stock the starter shack and count inventory for starter shack.
  • Provides beverage and snack service at the starter shack.
  • Assist and suggest items or products to carry on the beverage carts keeping in mind the highest quality products while creating the highest profitability.
  • Will fill out orders for food, soft drinks, alcoholic beverages and all condiments necessary to properly stock the beverage carts and provide enough products to sustain daily play.
  • Greet each group with a smile and without disrupting their golf game, asking if they would like anything to eat or drink.
  • Responsible for conducting cutoffs in accordance with RBS and The Links procedure.
  • Maintains a clean work area in all F&B Outlets.
  • Can effectively count Links F&B Inventory
