About The Position

As a Food & Beverage Associate, you’ll combine culinary preparation with guest interaction, ensuring every meal experience is seamless and unforgettable. From preparing delicious continental breakfast items to crafting boxed lunches for guests and tour groups, you'll be a key player in providing a diverse and exceptional dining experience. You’ll also be responsible for: Preparing and serving continental breakfast, including a variety of freshly prepared items to start our guests' day off right. Creating delicious and customizable boxed lunches for individual guests and tourist groups that consists of fresh sandwiches and salads. Managing inventory, tracking stock levels, and placing orders for necessary kitchen and front-of-house supplies. Ensuring that items are always well-stocked, fresh, and ready for service. Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with local suppliers and vendors to ensure smooth, timely deliveries and quality products. Providing exceptional service during breakfast and lunch hours, assisting guests with any food-related requests and ensuring a warm, friendly, and professional atmosphere at all times. Being present on the floor and attentive to guests’ needs to ensure top-level service and experience for guests. Completing all opening and closing side-work as directed. Keeping tables and dining areas neat and presentable, following health and safety guidelines. Attending and participating in advancement of food and beverage education outside of regular service. Following all food safety and cleanliness protocols, maintaining a tidy and organized work environment in both kitchen and front-of-house areas, including frequent handwashing. Ensuring the highest quality and presentation of meals. Providing exceptional customer service and accommodating special dietary requests. All other duties as assigned. What this isn’t: A management or supervisory position

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage with guests and team members in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards and applicable health codes.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • You’ll need to present documentation establishing both identity and employment authorization within three days of hire pursuant to federal law.

Nice To Haves

  • A high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience working in a luxury hotel/resort setting.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent.
