About The Position

The Food & Bev Attendant is responsible for setting tables, serving food and beverages, clearing tables, and preparing simple food items like salads and desserts. This role also involves making coffee and adhering to community-wide standards for customer service, education, infection control, professionalism, safety, and time/attendance.

Requirements

• Must be available to work weekends.

• Previous cooking experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sets tables properly in preparation for meals with tablecloths, napkins, dishes, utensils and condiments.
• Assists with serving food in all dining rooms.
• Clears tables after main course and serves dessert and coffee.
• Clears tables of dishes, condiments, tablecloths or mats.
• Makes coffee and prepares salads and desserts.
• Interacts with residents, family members, and co-workers in a respectful manner.
• Adheres to Poydras Home infection control policies and procedures.
• Recognizes and responds appropriately to safety hazards throughout the community.
• Adheres to Poydras Home Attendance policy.
