About The Position

We are the trusted resource for HIV and STI services, fostering a culture of love, service and hope in every interaction.” Overview: The Food and Transportation Assistant will assist the KY Part B & Housing Department with transportation for patients of Matthew 25 and with the organization’s food pantry. This position may also assist in completing other projects within the department. Key Responsibilities Provide a safe and supportive environment for our patients. Maintain food pantry and patient transportation services. Assist in special projects within the department. Aiding Community Services Coordinator with departmental goals. Communication Skills Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal form Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine documentation and correspondence. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills Intermediate computer skills are essential in use of an electronic medical record. Other Skills and Abilities Must be detail oriented, have ability to multi-task and possess great interpersonal skills. Must be able to pass a drug screen and background test. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work vary, but are typically Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. This position is considered an on-site position when duties are performed within the scope of this job description. If performing duties outside of the essential duties of this job description, the employee may request an alternative accommodation from their director to best meet the needs of the employee for the terms of the irregular duties. (Example: Employee is participating in a virtual conference and is requesting to WFH to attend and accommodate employee needs during the time of the conference). Work Environment This job operates in a professional clinic environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
