It also includes responding to client inquiries, interviewing applicants to determine eligibility based on employment and income, verifying information, and processing referrals and applications. Additionally, the position screens clients for various issues, provides referrals, completes child support investigations, evaluates Medicaid eligibility, and maintains accurate client records. The role also involves developing responsibility plans, monitoring client compliance, evaluating hardship exemptions, and preparing reports. Clerical duties such as answering phones, greeting visitors, and operating office equipment are also part of the responsibilities. The position requires interaction with various individuals and groups, attendance at meetings and training, and potential involvement in special projects like securing food resources or training food stamp recipients. Case management duties of co-workers may be performed as needed, along with other related duties.
