Responsible for positive Guest interactions while assisting other team members through the daily routine. Interacts with the Guests to ensure a great experience. Acting as quality control, ensuring Guest satisfaction by working with all other positions to facilitate a smooth and positive experience. Expectations of this position: Support all functions of restaurant in order to guarantee an exceptional guest experience. Handle the table bookings. Direct guests to their tables, in absence of Host/Hostess. Informs guests of food preparation, details, and ensures any guest allergies. In times of need, communicates specific guest needs through POS system. Has complete knowledge of restaurant, menu, specials, menu deviations, outlets and services ensuring knowledge of unavailable menu items. Ensuring all functions are maintaining proper dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses. Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties. Assist in clearing tables and return all equipment to their respective areas including rolled silverware and making sure all the condiments are refilled. Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of restaurant through disposing of all waste, clearing and cleaning all glassware, and wiping down table top areas. Ensure that all spills and breakage are attended to immediately. Assisting with special events as needed, which may include different serving methods. Understands and can communicate products and services available at our resorts. Actively ask for feedback from guests. Encourage guest feedback on social media. Facilitate conversations with guests to ensure satisfaction. Acting on any complaints in order to better the guest experience. Actively communicate with entire team to ensure everyone has what they need in order to provide the best possible guest experience. Handling social media content to promote restaurant and bookings. Handle special requests properly; anticipate guests needs. Promptly respond and resolve guest complaints. Answer telephone promptly and properly being polite, courteous and friendly. Use guests names. Properly document all transactions. Handle and account for all cash, checks, and credit cards. Close out all servers and bartenders to ensure he/she balances and closes shift properly. Properly handle and account for keys. Be knowledgeable of policies regarding emergency procedures, lost and found items and security concerns. Adhere to all state and federal requirements regarding to the sale of alcohol. Adhere to all Health Department requirements. Expectations of every Villager: Be an enthusiastic, helpful and positive member of the team.
