Food and Beverage Sales Coordinator

About The Position

This role involves preparing sales-related documents, promoting brand awareness, and assisting the management team with revenue and marketing programs. The coordinator will also develop and implement social media and beverage promotional initiatives, manage sales software, and serve as a point of contact for clients. Key responsibilities include answering guest questions, coordinating event reservations, and performing general office duties to support sales and room service operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare sales-related documents such as proposals, contracts, and banquet event orders.
  • Promote awareness of brand image internally and externally.
  • Gather materials and assemble information packages.
  • Use sales techniques that maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
  • Assist the management team in developing, implementing, and executing revenue and marketing programs for all outlets and room service.
  • Develop, coordinate, and implement social media initiatives and beverage promotional programs.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in sales software.
  • Answer guest questions about property facilities and services.
  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Coordinate reservation confirmations for special and holiday events for parties of six or more.
  • Coordinate the selling of all food and beverage in hospitality suites through the Room Service Department.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, sending emails, typing, faxing, and copying.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure personal appearance is professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
  • Protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Prepare and review written documents accurately and completely.
  • Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Support team to reach common goals.
  • Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
