About The Position

The Food and Beverage Runner is responsible for assisting servers and bartenders in providing excellent guest service. This role involves delivering food and beverages to tables, clearing tables, refilling drinks, and ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the dining area. The runner plays a crucial part in the smooth operation of the food and beverage service, contributing to a positive dining experience for guests.

Requirements

Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
Must be able to lift and carry trays and other items.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
Team player with a positive attitude.

Nice To Haves

Experience with a POS system.
Knowledge of different types of cuisine and beverages.

Responsibilities

Deliver food and beverages to guest tables promptly and accurately.
Assist servers with setting and clearing tables.
Refill water glasses and other beverages as needed.
Respond to guest requests and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, service stations, and storage areas.
Support the kitchen and bar staff as needed.
Ensure all food and beverage items are presented according to established standards.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless service.
