About The Position

The Hermitage Club at Haystack Mountain is looking for a polished, service-minded Food and Beverage Lead to join their team. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves being on the floor and behind the bar, delivering attentive, gracious service. The ideal candidate will have fine dining and upscale casual dining experience, enjoy crafting drinks, and helping teammates during busy services.

Requirements

• Fine dining serving experience, ideally in a private club, resort, hotel, or upscale restaurant.
• Bartending experience and solid knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and a calm, professional presence with guests.
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Availability to work occasional nights and weekends.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Nice To Haves

• ServSafe, TIPS, or similar certifications preferred, or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional service in our Lodge and Mountain Restaurants, anticipating member needs with warmth and professionalism.
• Work behind the bar as needed, preparing cocktails, wine, and beer with accuracy and care.
• Serve as a go-to team member during service, supporting fellow servers and bartenders and helping keep service flowing smoothly.
• Help set the tone for the shift by modeling high standards for presentation, timing, and hospitality.
• Assist with private events, holiday functions, and special Club programming.
• Share menu and beverage knowledge with members and help newer team members learn the ropes.
• Keep dining and bar areas clean, stocked, and ready for service.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards.

Benefits

• Compensation: $28–$35 per hour, including tips, for approximately 30 hours per week.
