F&B Cashiers deliver outstanding guest service by welcoming and assisting guests, providing product information, and accurately completing sales transactions. Responsibilities include operating the POS system, handling payments, maintaining accurate cash drawer counts, stocking beverage bins, and assisting with dining area cleanliness. Cashiers serve food at the line and may assist with cabana meal deliveries. They are expected to stay informed on product details, pricing, and promotions to provide helpful recommendations to guests. This role ensures a clean, organized environment and reflects the company’s commitment to guest satisfaction while supporting revenue goals.

Requirements

• Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
• Basic understanding of sales principles and guest service practices

Responsibilities

• Operate the POS system
• Handle payments
• Maintain accurate cash drawer counts
• Stock beverage bins
• Assist with dining area cleanliness
• Serve food at the line
• Assist with cabana meal deliveries
• Stay informed on product details, pricing, and promotions
• Provide helpful recommendations to guests
• Ensure a clean, organized environment
• Support revenue goals
• Greet guests when entering or leaving the establishment
• Make sales referrals, cross-sell products and introduce new products when applicable
• Answer guests' questions and refer to management if answer doesn't solve the issue
• Resolve guest complaints, guide them and provide relevant information
• Upsell seasonal passes, star cash and other packages
• Handle cash, credit transactions, star cash, redeem coupons or honor approved discounts with guests
• Issue change, receipts and star cash
• Redeem coupons and honor discounts
• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change
• Ensure pricing is correct, scan products, collect payments and bag items carefully
• Show a sense of urgency while working
• Acquire product knowledge and keep updated on changes, daily prices, product availability, and events
• Maintain the overall cleanliness of the park
• Report any theft or suspicious activity to management
• Follow all company policies and procedures while protecting company assets
• Maintain clean and tidy work area
• Take pride in their wardrobe & appearance
• Assist other departments as staffing needs require
