About The Position
Direct Edge is seeking a dependable and hardworking Folding Carton Stripping / Warehouse Associate to join our production team. This position plays a key role in supporting our folding carton manufacturing operation by stripping die-cut jobs, preparing finished product for shipment, and assisting with general warehouse duties.
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a printing, packaging, folding carton, warehouse, or manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience stripping die-cut folding carton jobs is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus but not required
Responsibilities
- Strip folding carton jobs after die cutting operations
- Inspect work for quality and notify supervisors of any issues
- Band, stack, and prepare skids for shipment
- Assist shipping and receiving department with daily activities
- Move materials and finished goods throughout the facility
- Help load and unload trucks when needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist production and warehouse teams with various tasks as assigned
- Follow company quality, safety, and production procedures
