About The Position

The person in this position shall operate Jagenberg, Bobst, 7 Signature folder/gluers on a variety of cards and boxes; taking plain or printed package items and feeding them into the machine to be folded and glued to produce a product per instructions on the work order.

Requirements

• Operate Jagenberg, Bobst, 7 Signature folder/gluers on a variety of cards and boxes
• Feed plain or printed package items into the machine
• Fold and glue products according to work order instructions
• Maintain accurate production records within the Logic computer system
• Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Communicate job information to the next shift operator
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned equipment and surrounding area
• Maintain acceptable production and quality standards
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures
• Demonstrate commitment to quality and perform job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines
• Set up and make adjustments to folder/gluer for efficient operation
• Ensure proper box folding and gluing is consistent throughout production process
• Maintain accurate production records within the Logic computer system
• Assist with preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
• Communicate all job information to next shift operator
• Play an active role in the cleanliness of the assigned equipment and surrounding area
• Maintain acceptable production and quality standards
• Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
