FOH Team Member for Mamahuhu Palo Alto
About The Position
Mamahuhu is growing its front of house team. We have a casual, 40-seat dining room with bench, counter and booth seating. The dining room is designed for counter-service style ordering where guests line up, order at the counter, receive a number and we bring the food out to them when it's ready. The front of house is designed to be simple and lean and works great when we have a tight, organized group who can work efficiently and as a team. We are looking for friendly, positive, and energetic team members to join our Front of House team! This role is dynamic and hands-on, with responsibilities that may include running food, bussing the dining room, working the POS counter, answering phones, and occasionally supporting the expediter during service. Our restaurants are fun, flexible, and teamwork-oriented environments where everyone jumps in to help make the guest experience great!
Requirements
- Ideally has at least 1 year of experience in a hospitality setting
- Is available for both AM and PM shifts Friday, Saturday and Sunday
- Has a strong work ethic, and thrives on being part of a close knit team
- Has a sense of urgency, and challenges themselves to accomplish more each day
- Can pay close attention to detail
- Appreciates food as a way to bring people together
- Has a strong sense of hospitality and service
Nice To Haves
- Experience with or interest in Chinese cuisine is a plus!
