Requirements

At least one year of professional food service experience.
Availability of 30-40 hours a week.
Minimum commitment of one year for shift leaders.
Enthusiastic and hard-working.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work in a professional kitchen.

Prior supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Model hospitality in the bakery.
Help maintain a positive team environment.
Provide open communication with management regarding bakery operations, changes, team dynamics, and improvement ideas.
Demonstrate pride in the bakery by maintaining cleanliness and organization, or by assigning these tasks to team members.
Act as cash controller for shifts, ensuring accuracy and completion of all cash transactions.
Be adept and knowledgeable with catering orders and the delivery system.
Execute store openings and closings with fellow team members.
Troubleshoot small equipment problems and understand protocols for equipment failure, including repair contacts, problem-solving, and workarounds.
Place beverage orders.
Take inventory of tea, coffee, and juices.
