About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Front of House Manager with extensive bar expertise to lead guest-facing operations at a high-end restaurant in South Bend, Indiana. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep knowledge of cocktails, wine, and spirits, and a proven ability to drive both service excellence and revenue growth.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Front of House Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Bar Manager in an upscale or high-volume environment
Extensive knowledge of cocktails, wine, spirits, and current beverage trends
Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation setting
Financial acumen, including cost control, inventory management, and labor optimization
Excellent problem-solving skills and a guest-first mindset

Nice To Haves

Certification in alcohol service (or ability to obtain) preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee all front-of-house operations, including dining room and bar service
Lead, train, and mentor FOH staff, with a strong emphasis on bar team development
Maintain exceptional guest service standards and resolve guest concerns promptly
Manage daily service flow, reservations, and floor operations
Oversee bar program execution, including cocktail consistency, presentation, and speed of service
Collaborate with leadership on beverage menu development and seasonal offerings
Monitor and control labor and beverage costs to meet financial targets
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and alcohol service regulations
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships for bar operations
Drive sales through upselling strategies, staff education, and guest engagement
