About The Position

This role is responsible for setting up the foamline machine and provides direction to foamline colleagues. The position involves entering work orders into the system, answering questions, assisting in troubleshooting process and product issues, and coordinating support activities for other areas of production. The operator will maintain a safe work environment, actively participate in safety initiatives, and support employee training and direction on the foam line. Additionally, the role requires partnering with engineers and supervisors to develop operator work instructions and train new operators. Continuous process improvements are a key aspect, with participation and support in improvement teams as appropriate. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of education
• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing
• Mechanical aptitude
• General computer software skills

Responsibilities

• Enter work orders into the system.
