The FNP Nurse Practitioner OBGYN will provide health care services to patients. Under the general supervision of the Director- Ob/Gyn, the practitioner will examine patients, take medical histories, record results, and make preliminary diagnoses. They will also develop care plans, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and perform therapeutic procedures. The role involves instructing and counseling patients on therapeutic regimens, wellness, and health maintenance, providing continuity of care, and maintaining patient records. Additionally, the practitioner will record statistics, conduct research, compile reports, perform referrals to specialists, write prescriptions, and provide general health education. They will also instruct nurses and medical assistants on patient care needs and perform Well Woman Exams, Prenatal and postpartum care, and basic gynecological care.
