About The Position

This is a senior-level position for an individual with over 20 years of experience in programmatic support and a proven track record in developing and managing operating systems management. The role will provide programmatic support to the USG lead to assist the customer in supply planning, forecasting, inventory, and shipping to meet their requirements as outlined in the FMS case. The selected individual will support by researching, collecting, coordinating, and resolving programmatic and FMS case issues/actions. This support includes, but is not limited to, resolving multiple, complicated hardware, software, logistics, contractual, and FMS case issues by coordinating internally within SAMD, AMCOM, other Life Cycle command SAMD, USASAC Redstone and New Cumberland, industry, the Cargo Project Managers Office, other PMs within PEOAVN, and the FMS customer. The individual will be expected to participate in the preparation, conduct, and follow-on actions of all program meetings, including Program Management Reviews and In Progress Reviews. The selected individual may be required to brief program issues, assist in capturing official meeting minutes for signature, identify and write official memorandums, and provide written resolution to any action items assigned during program meetings. The individual will also capture lessons-learned and institute approved changes to improve processes. The individual will work daily with the SAMD Program Lead, other program team members, and FMS Foreign Liaison Officers on program issues, resolving them expeditiously and within suspense dates.

Requirements

20+ years of experience in programmatic support
Proven track record in developing and managing operating systems management

Responsibilities
