FM Data Analysis Specialist
About The Position
Guidehouse provides a range of advisory services and support to improve the processes and capabilities surrounding the development, defense, execution, reporting, and process analysis of activities required to support the non-budgetary side of IC CFO. In this support, we provide guidance on financial management (FM) activities and systems in order to achieve, improve, and sustain appropriate accountability for all other IC priorities. You will work with a team to support the development and implementation of strategies for improvement of systems and processes related to financial accounting and auditability for IC funds. This role will support cleansing, analysis, and documentation over FM budget execution data via tools such as Tableau and PowerBI. In this role, you will perform analysis and prepare insights over execution data to help inform recommendations regarding FM and budget issues and what-if scenarios.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TS/SCI Federal or DoD security clearance with a COUNTERINTELLIGENCE (CI) polygraph
- Bachelors Degree
- ONE (1) year+ experience in financial management and data analytics
Nice To Haves
- Analyzing budgets with PowerBI and/or Tableau
- Familiarity of the Federal and IC budget cycle
- Ability to work with diverse stakeholders from across the federal government to gain access to needed data sets
- Attention to detail, organization, proactiveness, and sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior government staff
