About The Position

Solution One is seeking a skilled Fluids Analyst III to support fuel inventory management and launch operations at our client site in Kennedy Space Center, FL. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory reporting, regulatory compliance, and forecasting of propellant systems in support of mission readiness. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with DLA reporting requirements, and the ability to collaborate across engineering and operations teams. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience with inventory management, reporting, or logistics operations
  • Familiarity with DLA requirements and military documentation (DD forms)
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in data tracking, reporting systems, and Microsoft Office tools (Excel preferred)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or launch operations
  • Knowledge of hypergolic propellants and fluids systems
  • Familiarity with KPLSS or similar inventory/forecasting systems
  • Experience with technical documentation and program planning.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage inventory reporting for Defense Fuel Supply Point (DFSP) operations in compliance with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requirements.
  • Prepare and submit monthly Inventory Transaction Reports (MITR), including: Sales and credit documentation (DD1898, DD2913), Shipping and receiving transmittals (DD1348-7), Determinable and operating loss reports (DD1348-8).
  • Maintain and report weekly and monthly inventory data, including container tracking and summary reporting.
  • Coordinate forecasting efforts by updating monthly Hypergol Forecasts and submitting KPLSS Physical Inventory reports.
  • Generate System Level Reviews (SLR) and Post Launch Assessments (PLA) for missions requiring KPLSS support at SLC-40.
  • Manage PLA tracking, Fluids Management updates, and Falcon 9 Flow Graphs for additional mission types.
  • Support program documentation and operational planning by updating Hypergol-related sections of PRO-STUDY-12 (Propellants Equipment Utilization and Optimization Plan) and PRO-P-0048 (Fluids Support Plan) for Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure launch readiness, data accuracy, and operational efficiency.
