About The Position

GHG Corporation is currently searching for a Fluids Analyst I to support our KPLSS team at Kennedy Space Center. This role involves managing and tracking equipment and propellants, calculating consumption, resolving discrepancies in service requests, maintaining inventory systems, and ensuring accurate billing and reporting within a dynamic aerospace and launch-operations environment.

Requirements

  • Position may require the ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
  • US citizenship is required for restricted area access.
  • A driver's license is required to independently travel onto and around KSC property.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and track all equipment and propellants used across KPLSS-including CGTs, liquid tankers, rechargers, k-bottles, dewars, scrubbers, GPTUs, vendor tankers, and more-using the Fluids Inventory Management System (FIMS).
  • Calculate propellant consumption and record usage accurately on all applicable Service Requests (SRs) and TINs within Maximo.
  • Review incoming Service Requests and coordinate with schedulers, shop supervisors, and the business office to resolve discrepancies, obtain missing information, and ensure all SRs contain complete and accurate details (TINs, usage data, locations, asset numbers, etc.).
  • Maintain alignment between Maximo and FIMS to support an efficient and error-free monthly invoicing process, consistently meeting all invoicing deadlines.
  • Keep precise and reliable fluids-tracking records to support accurate billing with minimal discrepancies.
  • Examine and validate fluids-related reports-including Mass Balance and PIMR reviews-to ensure data accuracy, report consistency, and compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate the procurement of k-bottles, vendor tankers, dewars, and DM water beds/filters to support customer demands and internal operational needs.
  • Process and manage DD250 documentation to verify vendor tanker acceptance and ensure contract compliance.
  • Prepare and distribute DD1149 shipping documents for vendor equipment being returned or shipped offsite.
  • Create and manage purchase requests while collaborating with procurement teams to support operational and supply needs.
  • Conduct Propellant South Hypergol Inventory Report reviews in collaboration with Propellant South Engineering to ensure accurate inventory accountability and reporting.
  • Work closely with technicians, shop personnel, schedulers, engineers, and the business office to resolve operational issues and invoicing questions.
  • Support daily functions within the Fluids Engineering Group in a dynamic aerospace and launch-operations environment.
  • Adhere to all established procedures, documentation requirements, and quality standards governing fluids operations at Kennedy Space Center.
